Twitter

I have been asked many times if I am on Twitter, when I have answered “no”, I am told I have to be on Twitter. So now I am on Twitter.

It could be quite interesting while I am at the track, I will have to work out how to add photos to the tweets from my phone. (see that, I am even using the right jargon, I called it a tweet). I would even use it through the week while I am in the shop if people are interested, (Although I think it might get a little boring. . . now I am welding, now I am grinding, now I am filing, now I am welding, building cars is not as glamorous as it might seem. No, it’s not all like that, today I am going to help a fellow who has a one owner 67 Chevelle, he has just spent the last couple years doing a complete restoration on it, should be a pretty nice car).

Back to Twitter. Where is everyone that wanted me to be on Twitter? I am flattered that three of you jumped on board right away, but I feel kinda funny tweeting to just three people.

I am racing in Ashcroft next weekend, (September 19 & 20), and you are all invited. Those of you who can’t make it, get on Twitter, and I will keep you up to date that way. Those who do come, make sure you come over and say hi. Make my pit your home base, unless you are sitting in the car you won’t really be in the way. Hang out all you want. I can see many people when I am at the track, really want to stay and watch, or just hang out, but start to feel uncomfortable, feel like they are being a bother, well your not. Now if I have to keep asking you to move so I can get to what I am doing, that might be different, but there is plenty of room. Everyone on the team is very friendly, Dennis, the car Owner is very proud of his car, ask him all about it and he will enjoy telling you everything you want to hear. Casey, my daughter, will be there, she can tell you all the stories about how many times I have scared her while I am driving these cars, and she can tell you about her driving experiences as well. So come on out and have a visit. $10 for a day of entertainment is great value.

If you can’t make it, find me on Twitter
